What's the difference between the "Off-topic" and "Other" sub-forums?

It is expected that the thread will go off topic if it is in the "off topic" sub-forum but the "other" is for threads that don't fit in any other sub-forum but the discussion is expected to stay somewhat on topic.

(I just pulled that out of my butt.)

"Off Topic" threads are completely unrelated to the focus of the forum (i.e. Do you like jazz music?).

Topics in the "Other" category are still related to philosophy, science, religion, etc. but don't specifically fit in any of those categories. It's sort a "General Discussion" category.

Well your butt is pretty smart. ;)
